Business Goals

The company aimed to launch a proprietary non-custodial crypto wallet to support its own stablecoin. The product had to be multi-chain from day one, offering users full control of their assets while building trust around the brand’s token. We set out to define the MVP scope, UX foundation, and visual direction for a mobile-first app.

User Needs

Crypto-savvy users expect flexibility, clarity, and security. Based on our research of top wallets in the space, we focused on giving users an intuitive onboarding experience, secure wallet recovery, seamless chain and token management, and clear balances aggregated across networks. The flow also needed to support both beginners and advanced users with features like watch-only wallets and granular asset visibility.

Designs

What We Delivered

We benchmarked leading wallets, documented key flows, and built a complete design system and UX spec for a multi-chain wallet MVP. Core flows included: creating or importing wallets, recovery with seed phrases, token management, sending assets, and toggling supported blockchains. The product was designed mobile-first and ready for development handoff.

Intro screens help users understand the product and get started — whether by creating a new wallet or importing an existing one.

Users could choose from multiple secure ways to add an existing wallet: seed phrase, cloud backup, or watch-only mode.

A standard but essential sequence: prepare to save your seed phrase, view the full phrase, and confirm recovery by entering select words.

After entering a seed phrase, users select the blockchains they want to restore, followed by picking tokens for each network.

A simple success screen leads users to a clean dashboard showing available actions and a starting balance.

A step-by-step send flow: select the token, input the amount, confirm transaction details — optimized for clarity and speed.

Users can manage which blockchains and assets are visible, a must-have for multi-chain wallets.

Assets like USDT may exist on multiple networks — the UI collapses or expands them for easy tracking.

The main wallet screen shows a clear overview of all crypto balances across chains. The token detail screen gives quick access to actions and recent activity for a specific asset. A separate transaction history screen allows users to review all past operations in one place.

Impact

Although the wallet didn’t launch, the research and design process laid a solid foundation for future product efforts in the ecosystem. It also clarified technical limitations and aligned cross-functional teams on scope, capabilities, and user experience standards.
